Labur.eus is a new URL shortener service

Dot EUS domain is a tool that holds Euskara on the same level than other languages, that will help in the normalization of Euskara and that provides an international recognition for the country of Euskara.

Now the Basque internet users have a new services to shorten URL using .eus domain. The service is very simple and faster to use and is based on the Polr free software project. Here you can see Polr software running and here labur.eus. If you can see both websites are very similar but labur.eus is created especially to share basque content and to have more relevance on the web.

In the oder hands this domain has a little problem with facebook. It seems like facebook doesn’t recognize labur.eus with a friendly domain and this is a problem when you share some url in that social network.
