280 character tweets are now available

Today I have received a new update to Twitter app for my android device and now I can write 280 characters per tweet. If you haven’t received the update don’t worry. In the next days you are going to receive the new update.

This feature is not new for some users. Twitter has been testing this feature for 2 months (more or less) with some users and now is extending to all users. In my opinion in most cases 140 is enough, but sometimes 280 is going to be a good option especially when we are argument and we want to explain with more details our opinion.

don’t be evil with yours haters in twitter, be patient and follow typing 140 characters 😉
